Back Drive

Automatic system for differential speed adjustment between screw and drum with the use of a secondary drive.

The differential speed between the screw and drum is automatically varied due to the increase in the mass load inside the equipment, which increases the flow of the secondary drive. Through a PID, the secondary drive performs the acceleration of the screw, discharging the volume of solids in a progressive way.

The reactive energy generated in the secondary drive will be recovered by the main drive connection system, providing savings of 15 to 20% in energy.
