The necessary time within the decantation and type of treatment for the solids separation will be set according to its aspects, when more solids can be collected without the need for coagulation, bigger the economy and speed of the process in the decanter will be, thus being a primary or simple decantation.

With a variety of decanters, it must be chosen according to your dimensions and flow needs. To choose, you must take into account the amount of treated water, the number of decanters, the density of the products and the sediment deposit.
